Job Description

Are you a proactive problem-solver with an eye for detail and a passion for operational excellence? At Petrelli Previtera, LLC, we’re seeking a Legal Operations Manager to help us elevate our firm’s performance by supporting our attorneys and paralegals in delivering exceptional client service. Working closely with our executive team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our standards for billing, collections, and service quality are met, all while contributing to a culture that values accountability and growth. For someone who is driven by measurable results and enjoys the challenge of creating efficient, data-informed systems, this position offers both impact and opportunity in a rapidly growing divorce law firm.

In this role, you will report directly to our executive team, ensuring our legal staff’s billing, collections, and quality of service meet our high standards. You’ll focus on managing their performance metrics—without overseeing their legal work—by refining processes, monitoring service levels, and driving improvements that align with our commitment to client satisfaction. Your advanced math skills, keen attention to detail, and Microsoft Excel expertise will be critical as you track, analyze, and optimize performance across the firm.

We’re looking for someone who is highly self-motivated and driven to win. You will not only meet but exceed operational goals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence among our legal staff. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who enjoys a dynamic work environment, values clear metrics, and is ready to dive into the numbers to enhance our firm’s service and efficiency.

This is an in-office position at our main Philadelphia office. Please do not apply if you are only interested in remote work.

Why This Role Matters:

This isn’t just a back-office role—it’s a pivotal opportunity to drive operational excellence and foster a high-performance culture within our firm.

We need someone who can:

  • Lead with assertiveness and clarity: You’ll provide essential guidance and oversight to our legal team on billing, collections, and quality of service. Building accountability and inspiring efficiency will be key to ensuring that our standards are met consistently.
  • Optimize operational performance: Overseeing the performance metrics of our attorneys and paralegals, you’ll streamline billing and collections processes, focusing on outcomes that improve quality of service and client satisfaction. Your impact will extend beyond numbers, shaping how we achieve excellence as a firm.
  • Step into the data and drive results: Whether analyzing billing trends, adjusting collection practices, or refining performance metrics, you’ll dive deep into data and numbers, ensuring we meet our goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Build trust and accountability: Your role demands trustworthiness, attention to detail, and the ability to drive accountability. Leading by example, you’ll ensure that our team is supported with consistent, data-informed feedback and guidance on service expectations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the performance metrics of attorneys and paralegals, ensuring quality in billing, collections, and service standards.
  • Serve as an operational liaison to our executive team, advising on strategies to improve efficiency and service consistency.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on billing and collections data, utilizing advanced math and attention to detail to guide improvements.
  • Be a proactive resource, helping our team identify performance goals and providing the tools and insights to reach them.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational practices across offices as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An assertive, detail-oriented leader with at least 3+ years of experience in a performance-driven operational role, managing teams of at least ten people.
  • Advanced math and analytical skills, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel and a comfort working with data to make informed decisions.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset, with a passion for optimizing team performance and meeting firm-wide goals.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead with integrity and transparency, fostering trust and accountability.

What We Are Offering:

  • Competitive Salary (with a base of $100,000 to $115,000 and significant bonus incentives based on performance).
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Benefits package (including firm-sponsored health insurance for all employees -- that's right, we pay for you).
  • 401k.
