In this role, you will:
- Manage hard copy records, including searching for and pulling boxes from the document management system and reviewing physical files.
- Organize and maintain electronic files on a variety of platforms.
- Review legal documents for execution by corporate officers; keep current on notarial rules and recording requirements in various states.
- Design, organize, and manage electronic data sites.
- Manage case intake and maintain case updates in an electronic management system.
- Respond to third-party subpoenas.
- Research and prepare summaries of case-related data for internal review.
- Create monthly reports on cases for internal and external stakeholders.
- Update Company databases with case documents and summaries.
- Prepare charts related to case settlements and insurance reimbursements.
- Research, analyze, prepare, and review discovery responses on behalf of the Company.
- Assist in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to managing issues with outside counsel, preparing Company employees for deposition and trial, coordinating experts and site visits, and attending mediation.
Experience\: You have at least 2 years of litigation experience in a high-volume law firm environment managing discovery, working closely with clients and working in all aspects of litigation. Additional experience as a litigation paralegal in-house is a plus.

Organized\: You have exceptional organizational skills and can manage multiple assignments, working with different in-house and external counsel at a time, supporting large complex cases, as well as managing smaller matters on your own.
Flexible\: You can work at our Headquarters in Seattle three days a week (Tues-Thurs) and when critical business needs require it. Our team is responsible for a wide variety of activities, and our work environment is always evolving. We’re looking for someone who can roll with shifting priorities and juggle them with ease.
Attention to Detail\: Some tasks will be big, and some will be small, but they all require attentive care to ensure accuracy and excellence.
Communication\: Clear and professional communication skills – both written and oral – are a must. We often work on confidential, privileged, or proprietary matters, so sound judgment and discretion are also required.

Technical Skills\: You are comfortable with technology and are proficient in Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams and Excel. Experience with Tracker, OnBase, Iron Mountain Connect and Relativity earns you a gold star!
Education\: Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred (paralegal certificate is a plus) or equivalent Weyerhaeuser experience.
What We Offer:
Compensation\: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $82,533-$123,800 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement\: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our contribution equal to 5% of your eligible pay
Paid Time Off or Vacation\: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
