Position Summary...Join Walmart's Class Action Litigation as a Senior Paralegal! The person in this role supports a docket of class and collective action litigation in the consumer and employment context. This person will work on a wide array of subject matter from wage and hour litigation to consumer protection claims. The right person will collaborate with in-house counsel, business stakeholders, and outside counsel to promptly investigate, manage, and resolve litigation. The right person will partner with eDiscovery colleagues to ensure proper and timely responses to discovery obligations. This person will spot risks for remediation and identify emerging trends. Exercising exceptional judgment and litigation skills, this person will help the Company navigate a complex and changing legal landscape.What you'll do...

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Salary
- Provide support to in-house counsel by managing legal processes, receive and review requests for information, and maintain information in case management systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, providing status updates on legal processes, and responding to questions about legal matters.
- Assist in-house counsel with research and analysis by identifying and interpreting necessary information and helping determine relevant facts to support legal arguments.
- Assist with custodial interviews and drafting litigation hold notices.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work with outside counsel to help identify documents, information, and fact witnesses necessary for cost-effective and efficient representation of the Company.
- Identify areas where risk can be mitigated and helping internal stakeholders understand legal obligations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of class action litigation processes and applicable law.
- Experience as a paralegal in the areas of class, collective, and representative litigation
- Experience with analyzing large datasets such as those involving wage/hour data and sales transactions
- An organized, detail-oriented approach and calm under pressure

- Paralegal certification or paralegal degree plus one year experience as a paralegal; OR
- Two years of experience as a paralegal; OR
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
