The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for a Senior Technology Analyst to join the Admin Systems Development Operations team as part of the Information Technology office.
The Senior Technology Analyst supports the JCC Information Technology (IT) office and ServiceNow platform team. Receiving only general direction, the Senior Technology Analyst will serve as a ServiceNow Platform engineer supporting the execution of the ServiceNow functions across different modules, solutions, and services. The role maintains information documenting the system configuration, administration, and monitoring. The Senior Technology Analyst serves as an operations consultant for business teams, technical users, and business stakeholders to analyze and recommend efficient business processes. This position works independently with minimal supervision and will lead business application projects.
The Senior Technology Analyst will be working together with the Senior Application Development Analyst and maintain thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to ServiceNow ITSM product capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Level Agreement / Management, Customer Service Management, Service Portal, and Custom Scoped Applications.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation, and technical experience in complex environments.
• Basic understanding of scripting for customizations and integrations (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS).
• Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
• Knowledge of Agile and SDLC principles.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Service Integrations preferred.
• Experience driving continuous improvements of Service Now implementation methodology and service offerings based on client's feedback.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
• Expertise in collaboration, creation, deployment, and maintenance of technical best practices and standards.
• Ensure technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valuable outcomes.
• Upon request, provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually, driven by customer needs and internal meetings.
• The ideal candidate would have ServiceNow Admin experience and related ServiceNow certifications in their main certification path with IT product line.

The Judicial Council offers hybrid work arrangements for many positions. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person on Wednesdays at the Judicial Council’s San Francisco or Sacramento office and reside in the areas surrounding these locations. Beginning January 2025, employees will work in the office at least two days per week.
Duties• Provides ServiceNow platform support for JCC.
• Project Management in support of ServiceNow applications’ upgrades, module deployments and on-going production support.
• Leads the deployment of new functionality, applications, and technologies by developing plans, coordinating with vendors, and setting project timelines and priorities.
• ServiceNow program user guide and training.
• Reporting.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or a related field, and five
(5) years of experience maintaining complex infrastructure with extensive knowledge in assigned
area of expertise such as servers, hardware, operating systems and/or network operating systems,
network hardware, telecommunications, and security.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or directly related field
may be substituted for one of the years of required experience. An additional four years of
professional experience as noted above may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. Or, additional
directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
OR
One year as a Technology Analyst with the Judicial Council of California or one year of experience
performing the duties of a class comparable in the level of responsibility to that of a Technology
Analyst in a California Superior Court or California state-level government entity.
Desirable Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certification and ITIL hands on experiences
• ServiceNow admin experiences
• Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation, and technical experience in complex environments
