We are seeking a motivated Service of Process Team Lead to join our Plano, TX-based team.

Position Summary

The Service of Process Lead works at the direction of the Service of Process Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service department. This role serves as the primary resource for team members by providing guidance, training, quality assurance, and workflow coordination while monitoring service performance and inventory.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee service of process efforts in all assigned states 
  • Manage process server action items related to service of process
  • Coordinate with vendor-managed service providers on service-related efforts and performance
  • Review and monitor aging inventory 
  • Review assigned client exceptions
  • Oversee Consumer complaints related to Service
  • All other duties as assigned by the Service of Process Manager or Senior Manager, Strategy and Performance


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast-paced environment 
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in service of process or the legal field
  • Knowledge of legal terminology
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
  • Ability to work and maintain patience with individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
