[Schedule]: Hybrid – Full-Time
The Firm:
A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm consistently ranked among Fortune’s Best Places to Work. Known for its collaborative culture and sophisticated transactional platform, the firm advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and strategic investors on high-value transactions across industries.
Its expanding Mergers & Acquisitions group is seeking experienced midlevel associates to support a robust national deal pipeline.
Description:
- This is real M&A — not side-of-desk corporate support.
- The firm is seeking associates with a minimum of three years of hands-on M&A experience to join its growing transactional team. The practice handles a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, including private equity transactions and private target deals.
- You will be directly involved in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex transactions from letter of intent through closing. Expect meaningful responsibility in drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, ancillary agreements, and coordinating due diligence and closing mechanics.
- This role requires strong technical drafting skills, comfort operating in fast-paced deal environments, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines. You’ll work closely with experienced partners while maintaining ownership over key components of transactions.
- If you understand deal dynamics, can anticipate issues before they surface, and thrive in the intensity of a live transaction, this platform gives you scale, sophistication, and national exposure.
Qualifications:
- J.D. with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum 3 years M&A transactional experience
- Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm required
- Experience handling private equity transactions
- Experience with private target M&A deals
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex due diligence processes
- Experience coordinating closing logistics

- Annual discretionary bonus
- 401(k) plan
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Personal medical and parental leave
