The Division of Enforcement is seeking a Senior Officer - Deputy Chief of the Asset Management Unit (AMU). This position may be located in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Fort Worth, TX, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, San Francisco, CA, or Washington, DC. This position is open to current SEC employees in the Division of Enforcement.
Duties The National Unit Deputy Chief (Asset Management Unit) is responsible for leading the Unit along with the Chief and in consultation with the Division of Enforcement's Director exercising delegated decision-making authority with respect to all operations and functions of the Unit. Duties: Developing, conceiving, planning, and implementing policies and guidelines affecting broad, emerging, and/or critical Commission programs. Serving as a primary Commission advisor on various programs and events. Counseling senior management staff and officials at multiple levels of the Commission; senior staff of other Federal, state, and local government agencies; and private sector clients and vendors on Commission matters. Advising on the appropriate methods and techniques to achieve program goals and objectives. Serving on inter-Commission, national, and/or international special work groups, task forces, or expert panels on special projects or studies critical to the resolution of far-reaching operating issues and problems. Salary- $207,830 - $315,481/year
