Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. In this role, you’ll work within a collaborative agile environment and use your critical thinking skills for completing assigned audit activities. Also, an individual would need to be flexible and adaptable to constantly evolving demands. They should bring a focus on achieving goals and a strong ability to learn. 

The Work Itself
  • Partner with Ally management and work cross-functionally while conducting individual audits.
  • Develop, complete, and document audit tests in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures.
  • Use data literacy and analytics to provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices.
  • Use proactive communication skills with management and peers will drive alignment to mitigate customer service issues before they occur.
  • You will demonstrate your inquisitiveness by proactively asking questions and challenging the status quo.
  • Your technical knowledge, creativity and improved mentality will be essential when performing ad hoc projects as assigned to assist with analyzing Ally’s risk and control environment.
  • Participation in Audit Transformation initiatives will be necessary to the function’s contribution to the enterprise and its continuing role within Ally business.
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience
  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to proactively and creatively identify emerging or previously unknown risks/issues and develop practical solutions and recommendations.
  • Curiosity, passion for technology, and strong technical proficiency.
  • Openness to feedback; strong active-listening skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • 1+ years of work experience in audit or financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (including military service) preferred.
  • Professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA, CAMS, CFE, etc.), is a plus.
  • Experience using ACL, Teammate or other Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
