- Job Responsibilities
- Serve as SME on statistical questions related to statistical questions related to statistical methodology, data knowledge, and regulatory/Industry requirements to advise teams towards sustainable solutions.
- Participate in discussions on early study design strategy and planning, research on related data and feasibility, and propose potential statistical solutions to meet agency goals.
- Develop statistics section of the protocol including study design methods, data simulations, sample size calculation, and statistical methods for data analyses.
- Develop statistical analysis plan (SAP) and other relevant operational plans, such as but not limited to randomization schema and safety triggers.
- Prepares statistical report templates, data specifications, and analysis datasets.
- Develops statistical programs using SAS for statistical analysis and generating report for internal and external projects and maintains analysis plan and programming documentation as appropriate.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree with statistical courses and experience in statistics.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:A bachelor's degree with a statistical course in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, public health, mathematics, economics, or computer science.
Must have statistical work experience and experience with development or maintenance of complex database management systems.
- Preferred Qualifications
Prefer a master's degree in biostatistics, mathematics, or statistics with a minimum of 3 years' experience. - Additional Comments
