Bachoco USA is seeking a Corporate Paralegal for our Fort Smith, AR Central Offices.
Summary: Supports the Attorney and Business Analyst in daily legal functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
- Assists with corporate contracts, database management, and risk management.
- Assists Attorney and Business Analyst with integral corporate documents and materials, including contracts and agreements.
- Works directly with Attorney and Business Analyst during corporate transactions.
- Conducts UCC Filings and Searches.
- Organizes, indexes, and files all legal documents.
- Supports Attorney in quarterly Board of Director meetings.
- Analyzes and organizes information in order to produce reports.
- Monitors governmental and industry regulations.
- Provides administrative support for Attorney and Business Analyst.
- Works directly with other departments to provide legal support as directed.

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in paralegal study is preferred or one year related paralegal experience in a law firm or with a corporate operation.
Language Skills: Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Interpersonal Skills: Can work across departments to facilitate legal risk management. Able to navigate difficult personnel issues in a professional and courtesy manner.
Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of legal customs and practice, including risk management software. Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
