You see litigation as a strategic business tool, not just a legal process. You will be the firm’s lead legal advocate in southeastern Minnesota, responsible for driving high-value outcomes for our clients.
What You'll Achieve: Own the Outcome, Drive the Impact This isn't just another attorney job. Backed by our EOS framework, you will:
- Drive Market Penetration: Establish Wanta Thome as the premier employment firm in Rochester by building relationships with local referral sources and driving our presence in the community.
- Own the Legal Strategy: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive litigation plans that align with our firm's mission to maximize settlement value, volume, and velocity.
- Generate Maximum Case Value: Lead negotiations, prepare for and represent clients at hearings, trials, and mediations, and work with our teams to optimize every case outcome.
- Lead, Don't Just Manage: Intentionally delegate routine tasks to our world-class paralegal and case management teams, allowing you to focus on the high-level legal work that only you can do.
- Deliver a Transparent, Client-Centered Experience: Serve as the client's main legal advisor, providing the proactive communication and clarity our firm guarantees.

Qualifications & Location Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
- Admission to the Minnesota State Bar.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and an unwavering focus on outcomes.
- Location: This is a remote position with required in-person presence in Rochester, MN for client meetings, court appearances, depositions, and other events requiring personal attendance. The ideal candidate lives within a commutable distance of Rochester or is willing to relocate.

The compensation for this role is performance-based. Starting salary is $95,000 per year, plus generous performance incentives. We offer health and dental benefits, a 401(k), and commuter benefits according to defined plans.
