Job Description
Ayming USA is looking for an attorney to join our Team. This is a hybrid role with traditional in-house counsel and nontraditional elements and the opportunity to grow with the company.
Your main responsibilities will be :
- Assist the Managing Director in managing the company's legal risk across various areas of law, including contract, litigation, employment, real estate, intellectual property, finance, and corporate.
- Provide legal assistance in drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and interpreting a wide range of legal documents and contracts with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Manage outside counsel in litigation matters and coordinate internal requirements, while studying and interpreting relevant laws, court decisions, and legal authorities.
- Render and receive legal advice to/from the French General Counsel and other members of the company's leadership/management group, including the USA Managing Partner and delivery/sales teams.
- Analyze and interpret laws, court decisions, and ordinances to assist with customer matters, such as restructurings, collections, and settlement agreements, and provide legal advice to the French-based general counsel office and other company leadership.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree
- 1 year of professional experience (Tax related industry experience not required)
- Verbal and written communication skills in a variety of consultative settings, including demonstrated experience with C-level executives or business owners
