About You
  • You’re experienced, with a proven track record as a lead Family Law Attorney who has managed a significant caseload of referral-based clients.
  • You're analytical, having the ability to assess complex client issues, identifying root causes, and developing appropriate solutions.
  • You’re compassionate, managing sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
  • You’re fast-paced, with the ability to work with and resolve multiple client-related issues simultaneously.
  • You're organized, possessing exceptional organizational abilities in your approach to legal proceedings and client escalations.
 
About the Job
You’ll be responsible for:
  • Client issue resolution: This is an escalation attorney that will serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client issues, working to resolve concerns and restore client satisfaction with the firm, whether the client remains with the firm or not.
  • Case management: Continuing oversite of escalated matters, ensuring that the agreements/plans put in place to resolve client concerns are executed by the legal teams through completion of the case.
  • Cross-channel collaboration: Working intimately with our Account Team and the relevant legal teams to ensure clear communication and resolutions of financial matters related to client issues.
  • Client relations: Develop and implement strategies to improve client relations by identifying and mitigating potential issues proactively with the legal teams.
  • Customer service: Seasoned customer service skills are pivotal to success in this role, time is spent on the phone with clients going through strenuous emotional circumstances. Confidentiality, compassion, and authority are key.
 
Requirements
  • Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
  • CA State Bar License, required
  • 7+ years of experience as a practicing family law attorney, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and client needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing client concerns, identifying solutions, and improving relationships

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this role is: $120,000 - $150,000 , but ultimately it will depend on experience.
