- Summary/Objective
The Smith County District Attorney's Office is looking for a Part Time Office Clerk to help with general clerical duties. The normal business hours are 8am-5pm M-F, and this position requires you to be available for at least 25-29 hours a week. This position is currently open and available to be filled. - Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to work well under pressure, follow directions and help when needed with general clerical duties, and other tasks in the office.
- This includes, but is not limited to, copying, filing, shredding, answering phones, scanning, data-entry, light cleaning, and stocking.
- This position also requires that you be physically able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. and be acclimated to the outdoor weather.
- You must be able to maintain a multi-line phone for a busy office when needed, along with greeting the public that comes in and out of the office.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be dependable, punctual, organized, reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player.
- Must be able to maintain a courteous and professional attitude with the public and co-workers, both in person and over the phone.
- Education and Experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent
