The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Family Law, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing complex cases from discovery through trial. Discovery & Document Management
- Coordinate and manage all phases of discovery, including eDiscovery.
- Review, organize, and maintain documents produced during discovery.
- Draft and respond to written discovery and subpoenas.
- Assist with document production, including redacting, copying, and applying Bates stamps.
- Draft and track authorizations for the release of medical, financial, and business records.
- Communicate with clients regarding discovery and document issues.
Court Filings & Legal Document Preparation
- Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts.
- Draft case management statements, declarations, and other court filings under attorney supervision.
- Shepardize and cite-check legal briefs and other filings.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
Case & Trial Support
- Use firm systems to calendar litigation deadlines and track key dates.
- Prepare and maintain case files, including for hearings, depositions, and meetings.
- Assemble trial and hearing binders.
- Attend and assist attorneys during trial.
Research & Administrative Support
- Conduct public records research using online resources.
- Create and maintain organized working files for attorneys.
- Perform additional administrative and job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
5+ years of Family Law experience
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate
Experience with Lexis and Westlaw
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience working with e-discovery software is required
