Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our contract team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support a dynamic team, ensuring the effective management of contractual agreements and legal documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of contract procedures, risk assessment, and legal document development, contributing to the company's legal integrity and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor team members within the contract team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial and contractual agreements including NDAs, Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work
- Have a thorough understanding of contract procedures, including drafting, review, and approval processes.
- Assess and evaluate liability risks associated with contractual obligations, providing strategic legal advice.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, revise, and finalize legal documents ensuring compliance and clarity.
- Maintain organized records of contracts and legal documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to contract law.
- Risk Mitigation - identify potential legal pitfalls and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as data security requirements (GDPR, ISO27001).
- Provide guidance to management regarding contractual obligations and risks.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- 5+ years of proven experience in contract law, commercial agreements, and legal document development.
- Strong knowledge of contract procedures, liability risk assessment, and legal compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, practical advice.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000; bonus eligible
