Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney to join our firm as an Associate Attorney. In this role, you will handle comprehensive bankruptcy matters and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with bankruptcy experience to grow their practice in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and approve bankruptcy-related pleadings and legal documents
- Handle all aspects of bankruptcy matters including Proof of Claims, Motions for Relief, Objections, Responses to Objections, Payment Change Notices, Settlements, and Adversary Proceedings
- Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings
- Conduct regular client meetings and provide updates on case progress
- Manage and prioritize large caseloads effectively
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree
- Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
- 0-3 years of bankruptcy law experience
- Residency in Pennsylvania
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads effectively
- Capable of multitasking and handling complex legal matters
- Current Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Pennsylvania residency
