Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate with four to five years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly in defending employment cases. This role involves substantial responsibility in case management, client engagement, and contributing to the firm's employment law practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Defending employment cases, with preference for experience in class and collective wage and hour actions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Managing written discovery processes
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Handling overall case management
- Reviewing and drafting workplace policies, practices, and handbooks for employers with nationwide and international operations
- Managing client engagements with a high degree of responsibility
Required Qualifications
- JD degree and active bar admission
- 4-5 years of experience in Employment & Labor law
- Proven experience defending employment cases
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Superior analytical abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
