Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a driven and talented Junior-Mid Level Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Healthcare Litigation Practice Group in Nashville. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Your Role & Impact:- Represent clients in high-profile, complex healthcare litigation matters.
- Draft, review, and manage pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Oversee discovery processes, including preparation for and participation in depositions.
- Provide strategic counsel to healthcare clients on managed care, reimbursement disputes, malpractice cases, and staffing issues.
- Collaborate with the national healthcare litigation team to craft innovative legal solutions.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- Education & Bar Admission:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Tennessee Bar admission is required.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of substantive experience in complex litigation, with a focus on healthcare litigation strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated legal writing experience, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
- Experience preparing for, taking, or defending depositions is highly advantageous.
- Expertise in Healthcare:
- Familiarity with managed care and reimbursement disputes, medical malpractice, medical staffing issues, or representing hospitals is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and effectively navigate intricate legal issues.
