We are a real estate transactions law firm in New York City representing clients in complex residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout New York. Our practice is built on precision, responsiveness, and white-glove client service. We partner closely with buyers, sellers, developers, commercial tenants, and lenders to execute transactions efficiently and seamlessly.

Our team operates with high standards, strong collaboration, and deep subject-matter expertise. We are looking for a senior paralegal who shares that commitment and understands the value of client service.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Paralegal to take ownership of high-volume residential transactions while supporting commercial transaction matters, such aas coop/condo board representation, Offering Plan creation and filing with the OAG Cloud, commercial leasing diligence and abstracts and mixed use sales.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced closing environment, understands NYC real estate at a technical level, and can independently manage matters, clients and brokers from contract through post-closing.

You will directly support three attorneys and serve as a critical driver of transaction execution.

What You Will Own

Residential Transactions

  • Draft and manage contracts of sale, riders, and closing documents (eg: deed, affidavits, ACRIS, etc.)

  • Conduct full due diligence of coop and condo board operations pre-contract: DOF, DOB BIS, HPD and DOB Now review, title review and clearance, lien resolution, coop/condo board bylaws and lease review

  • Prepare closing statements with accuracy and manage escrow and disbursements

  • Draft and file deeds and coop share transfers

  • Coordinate and conduct in-person and remote closings with accuracy

  • Oversee post-closing digital binders to clients, ensure compliance, ACRIS filings and quality control

Commercial Matters

  • Review commercial lease due diligence and prepare lease abstracts

  • Assist with borrower-side commercial financing transactions (eg: acquisition, mezzanine and building loan agreements)

  • Draft and file new development offering plans with NYS Attorney General's office (OAG)

  • Support representation of commercial tenants, developers, and borrowers

Firm Operations & Workflow

  • Track and calendar critical deadlines on Clio and Outlook across multiple active matters

  • Maintain support and organization digital client files within Clio 

  • Communicate daily with clients, brokers, lenders, title companies, and management companies

  • Draft LLC formation documents (eg: Articles of Organization, LLC Publications and Operating Agreements) and related filings

  • Ensure seamless coordination between attorneys and external stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of NYC real estate paralegal experience within a NYC real estate law firm

  • Deep familiarity with NYC coop, condo, townhouse, and HDFC transactions

  • Strong understanding of title processes and title clearance,mortgage lender requirements, and management company procedures

  • Ability to independently manage multiple high-volume matters (eg: 10-20 matters/week) without sacrificing quality

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills and ability to follow office workflows and task lists

  • Comfort working on an Apple Mac platform

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clio, Outlook, Teams, Gavel and digital document management systems

  • NYS Notary License (required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience

Work Structure

This is a full-time, in-person position in New York City. The selected candidate will support three attorneys and manage a substantial volume of closings, real estate due diligence, offering plan review, loan documentation review, and post-closing quality control.
