Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team in our Newport Beach headquarters. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will gain immediate hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, and more. From inception to resolution, you will have the opportunity to handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with team members and have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation attorney.
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
- Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience, a plus.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members.
- Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- This position offers flexible work arrangements - hybrid or fully remote based on your preference. Remote candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Encinitas, CA office for occasional in-person meetings and collaboration.

The expected base salary range is $115,000-$155,000, however actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
