
Receptionist/General Office Assistant
The Sinas Dramis Law Firm See More Job Openings by This EmployerThe Sinas Dramis Law Firm is seeking a full-time Receptionist/General Office Assistant to support our Lansing-based personal injury law firm. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and guests and plays a key role in maintaining a positive, welcoming, and productive office environment.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Answer all incoming calls and direct callers to the appropriate individuals
- Greet clients and visitors who visit our office
- Sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail; handle outgoing mail
- Monitor fax folder and distribute faxes appropriately
- Assist with general office tasks such as copying, scanning, organizing electronic files, and bulk mailings
- Type, format, or edit memos and routine reports
- Update staff vacation calendar as needed
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Basic Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow direction and work well with others
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, taking initiative, and working independently or collaboratively
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat
- Flexible, reliable, and maintains a professional attitude in the workplace
- Demonstrated interest in office administration or the legal field, preferred
