As Privacy Counsel you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apple’s business and products globally. You will help ensure that Apple continues to lead the industry on privacy and ensures we respond to the changing legal landscape under the PIPL, GDPR, CCPA, etc.\\n\\nYou will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy related aspects for Apple’s internal operations and various products and services, working alongside legal, engineering and business teams. This role will report through the Privacy Compliance Legal team and will offer the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge projects.

Providing guidance to legal and business teams on matters relating to internal and cross-border processing\\nDrafting policies and procedures to ensure that technology and business processes meet existing and new privacy legal requirements\\nAdvising business and regulatory partners on applicable privacy requirements\\nSupporting compliance and auditing frameworks including in relation to the PIPL, the GDPR, the CCPA, and other privacy laws\\nPartnering with business teams to conduct privacy reviews, including privacy impact assessments\\nStaying informed of and properly communicating any changes to or developments in privacy laws, regulations, standards, and guidance

LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized university\\nQualified lawyer with at least 4 years of experience (either at a major law firm and/or in-house) in privacy law\\nKnowledge of the PIPL and other comprehensive privacy laws, and regulatory and other guidance and standards\\nExperience advising on regulatory compliance and inquiries\\nExtraordinary written and verbal skills in English, and written and verbal fluency in Mandarin

Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications\\nAbility to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity\\nExperience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating privacy advice on complex legal issues\\nAbility to get results in diverse, fast paced environments\\nAble to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundaries\\nStrong analytical capability with attention to detail\\nAbility to partner at all levels of the organization
