Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will handle a wide variety of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, real estate, landlord-tenant, partnership/business dissolution, intellectual property disputes, and more! From inception to resolution, you will manage every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth.



Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a litigation attorney handling a range of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, real estate, landlord-tenant, partnership/business dissolution, intellectual property disputes, and more
  • Capable of developing and implementing litigation strategy, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, coordinating with experts, law and motion practice, interfacing with clients and opposing counsel, trial preparation, and mediations (trial experience is a plus!)
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members
  • Client-focused mindset and a desire to develop a book of business. A book of transferable business is a plus! (but not required)
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interface confidently with sophisticated clients, as well as opposing counsel
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license with the State Bar of Nevada
