Cucinelli Geiger, PC, a respected Elder Law and Estate Planning firm based in Fairfax, VA, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Law Firm Administrator to oversee the firm’s operational, financial, and administrative functions. This leadership role is essential to ensure the firm runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with its mission to serve clients with compassion and excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, people management skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments and with external vendors. - Manage all financial workflows including deposits, billing reviews, and payment tracking.
- Conduct weekly financial reviews with firm partners.
- Coordinate with the firm’s remote bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure billing accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
- Develop team members through coaching, performance evaluations, and accountability systems.
- Foster a positive and professional work culture aligned with the firm’s values.
- Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the firm’s IT contractor to ensure smooth tech operations.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of legal practice management systems and other software tools.
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols and training are up to date.
- Manage day-to-day facility needs including supplies, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure the office environment supports productivity and professionalism.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in professional services administration.
- Proven experience in financial oversight and people management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with practice management software and cloud-based tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
