Fast growing Jersey City based Real Estate Development Company, is seeking a vibrant and motivated person to play a key role on the legal team. The role requires someone who is well organized and can manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. The tasks range from: Working in the legal department, understanding of insurance for properties, working with the construction team, helping with property management, administrative, and assisting with all aspects of real estate. Real Estate Closings a plus. This candidate will have broad exposure to all aspects of real estate including: law, development, construction, and property management, business insurance.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and recognize and address work related issues as they occur. The ability to build and improve new processes and systems is important.
- Working knowledge in Google & Microsoft Word & Excel.
Job Requirements
- Real estate experience a plus
- Assist with ordering title insurance, clearing title encumbrances, reviewing title reports, surveys, and documents of record.
- Assist with the helping with construction projects
- Assist with property management
- Create limited liability companies, including preparation of formation documents
- Knowledge of Closing Documents
- Knowledgeable in reading a title commitment.
- Administrative work in the office
- Support and assist team
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
- Self-motivated
- Critical thinker and ability to problem solve

Salary: $55K to $65K depending on experience
