
- Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The Mediation Coordinator shall oversee the flow and timely handling of consumer complaints, review all written complaints and insure the proper handling of complaints consistent with current management policies and practices. Monitor all advocate mediation of complaints and shall also be responsible for maintaining an adequate library of consumer education materials in order to facilitate an informed mediation process.
- Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, a pre-law program, psychology, public administration, or a related field and one year minimum supervisory experience. A master's may be substituted for the professional experience. Extensive experience in a related field may be substituted for the education requirement. Attendance and the ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the general public are essential functions of this position.
