2026 Summer Legal Internship

The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office is looking for highly motivated legal interns for our 2026 summer internship program.
These internships are an excellent opportunity to work closely with our legal teams on a wide range of public interest issues.

 

As a Summer legal intern, you will spend your summer making a difference. Our 10-week, full-time summer program provides law students with a structured and enriching experience, including training sessions, networking opportunities, and meaningful legal work that supports the AGO’s mission.

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Must be a law student completing their 1L or 2L year.
  • Must be able to attend the program from May 26, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a connection to the people and communities we serve and an interest in supporting a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

 

Position Type:  Full-Time/Non-Exempt. Must be able to be in the office 4 days a week with one remote day.

 

Our current hybrid model includes 1 remote workday for most positions. On in-office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.



Salary:  Funding may be available for students who cannot secure funding through their law schools
