General Summary

Assists attorneys and the general public in person or by phone, in providing information relative to the status of pending Circuit Court cases with the processing of various legal documents relative to Circuit Court cases. Processes monetary judgements, garnishments, executions, certificates for extradition, remands, bench warrants, and signs an affixes the Circuit Court seal. Maintains the criminal lien database. Processes new attorneys admitted to the bar. Swears in and processes new deputies employed by the County. Sorts and distributes mail to section personnel by unit. Utilizes current Countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

  1. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development Test.
  2. Have three (3) years of full-time clerical work experience as an employee in a county or municipal clerk’s office or Circuit Court.
  3. Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical, established for this classification.
  4. Successfully complete the six month probationary period.

USD $45,511.00 - USD $60,976.00 /Yr.
