
Trueline's client, a prestigious law firm specializing is seeking an Environmental Law Associate to join their team in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex regulatory, administrative, transactional, and litigation cases in a dynamic legal environment.
What You'll Do as the Environmental Law Associate:
- Handle a diverse range of matters related to land development and natural resource management
- Work on project development, CEQA and NEPA compliance, public lands and mining issues
- Address air, water, and energy regulations
- Participate in land use litigation, including writs of mandate
- Assist with real estate transactions as needed
Must-Haves as the Environmental Law Associate:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- 5+ years of experience in land use or environmental law
- Strong academic record
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with CEQA and NEPA processes
Nice-To-Haves as the Environmental Law Associate:
- Experience in land use litigation, particularly writs of mandate
- Knowledge of public lands regulations
- Background in real estate transactions
