This is a Full‐Time position, with exceptional benefits and a strong management team. As a Legal/Collections Assistant, you provide superior service at all times to our dealerships and administrative team. This includes but is not limited to preparing and processing legal proceedings for charge‐off accounts. At SAC Finance, we seek driven individuals with a positive winning attitude. Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare charge off files as they come into the department, status them appropriately.
- Bankruptcy processing and filing proof of claims.
- Set auction sales of repossessed vehicles, post auction payments after sales.
- Process, post and import customer payments.
- Scan and prepare files to attorney’s in a timely manner
- Answer & make calls to customers/vendors as needed to locate customers or vehicles.
- Ensure we are following FDCPA, CFPB and state specific codes when handling accounts.
- Call customers that are set up for payment arrangements.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Experience and Education
- 2 years legal/collection experience preferred
- Highschool Diploma/GED required
- Microsoft Office experience required
Requirements
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
