Join Fish’s Minneapolis team in our fast-paced Risk Management Department as a Client Records Specialist.

How Will You Make a Difference?

  • Initiate intake by entering required information into the firm’s new business intake system.
  • Monitor the intake process with the goal of minimizing workflow delays.
  • Actively manage attorney and staff expectations by gathering information about and effectively communicating project status and issues, troubleshooting or escalating as appropriate.
  • Serve as an informational and procedural resource for attorneys and staff regarding new matter opening, engagement letter preparation and other department functions, including serving as a training resource when needed.
  • Safeguard data integrity by reviewing requests to ensure all required information is provided and entered correctly.
  • Manage the engagement letter requirements including letter generation, approval, and uploading executed letters to a centralized repository.

What Will You Bring to the Table?

  • 2+ years professional work experience; preferably in a law firm or professional services industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure.
  • Ability to initiate, follow through on all details, and complete time sensitive assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills as necessary to work effectively with people at all levels of the firm.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and contribute to effective team relationships.
  • Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
  • Ability to use standard office software applications (MSOffice, Outlook, Sharepoint) and subject matter databases as directed.
  • Ability to work in the Minneapolis office on Wednesdays
