â¯About the Role:â¯
The Legal Account Representative is responsible for engaging with consumers to resolve outstanding balances through clear communication, realâtime documentation, and accurate data entry.

Key Responsibilities:â¯
ââReceive inbound calls and perform outbound calls to consumers
âHandle dispute resolutions
âEducate the consumer on their current situation and try to resolve the debt balance
âCoordinate payment arrangements
âCommunicate with internal team for items to be processed through the court system
âTake notes while on the phone
âUpdate account statuses, dispositions, and payment arrangements
âResearch accounts as necessary – EOBs, insurance, previous activityâ

Required Qualifications:â¯
HS Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
â¯
Preferredâ¯Qualifications:â¯
Familiarity with FACS or Odyssey software systems
Experience in Collections background
Experience with Small Claims
Experience and familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
