We are pleased to represent a global Am Law 50 firm to recruit a Business Development and Marketing Specialist. This position will be an integral part of the firm’s highly collaborative and agile Business Development and Marketing Department. Reporting to the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager, the Specialist will support core marketing activities and projects related to the Corporate, Tax, and Entertainment Practice Groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Marketing Support: Assist in preparing pitchbooks, RFP responses, and updating marketing materials for designated practices. Track deal experience and follow up on data collection.
- Event & Sponsorship Coordination: Track firm sponsorships, coordinate set up and staffing at relevant conferences, and work with the events team to plan programs and webinars for clients and prospective clients.
- Research & Content Management: Conduct industry and client research, maintain intranet content, update practice group rosters, and assist with submissions to rankings and directories.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, with strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of InterAction and Vuture is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Employees are entitled to competitive compensation that aligns with their skills and experience. Exact pay will depend on factors such as expertise, experience, location, and other considerations allowed by law. The expected base salary range for this full-time, non-exempt position is $68,000 - $85,000, based on a 37.5-hour work week in Texas, California, and Washington D.C., and a 35-hour work week in Illinois.
