The Firm Intelligence Integrations Manager will play a pivotal role in the advanced technical administration and seamless integration of the firm’s experience management system, Litera Foundation. This position is responsible for the comprehensive design, troubleshooting, and optimization of both internal and external integrations, ensuring the firm fully leverages all system capabilities.
The Manager will influence, guide, and persuade various groups within the firm to understand the importance and broad benefits of the initiatives being advanced, effectively communicating the strategic value and positive impact of these integrations on the firm's overall performance and success. The Manager will lead efforts in data quality management, integration processes, technical support, and training, ensuring the system's optimal performance and user adoption, fostering collaboration and buy-in across different departments to drive towards greater efficiency and innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day technical administration of the firm’s experience management system, ensuring high availability and performance; in partnership with other group leaders, design the long-term strategy around integrations and how to optimize the platform for key firm needs.
Spearhead the development and implementation of sophisticated data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization techniques. Identify and execute configuration changes needed to support workflows, processes, and fields on the platform.
Lead and manage complex IT projects related to Foundation and Foundation integrations, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business requirements.
Manage and optimize data integration processes, ensuring accurate and consistent data flow between systems. Validate and rectify data flowing into the experience management system from other systems, collaborating with appropriate teams to correct data in source systems.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in system integrations and data management practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the firm.
Lead and optimize the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure precise data migration and integration.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration and system issues. Coordinate with technical teams to resolve problems swiftly and efficiently.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and scripts for complex end-user training, onboarding, and user and communications.
Oversee data quality management, ensuring data integrations and imports are rigorously tested and monitored for accuracy and consistency. Ensure accurate mapping to appropriate fields and maintain appropriate taxonomies.
Create detailed blueprints and technical documentation for IT teams to implement system configurations, integrations, and customizations. Ensure these blueprints align with business requirements and technical standards.
Oversee third-party integrations, data analytics products, and software services, managing related data imports, exports, and data cleansing/normalizing.
Establish and maintain strong relationships and effective communication with vendors regarding issues, questions, and enhancement requests.
Participate in the development and execution of the firm’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Ensure all integrations and data management practices comply with industry standards and firm policies, maintaining the highest level of data security and integrity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of Litera Foundation architecture, data structures, and customization capabilities.
Technical proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and system configuration.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex IT projects.
Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to develop effective and collaborative relationships with technical teams and vendors.
Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of firm data, as appropriate.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly, engage stakeholders, and manage client relationships effectively.
Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands while meeting deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality service and partner effectively with diverse groups at various levels within the firm and external contacts.
Ability to self-manage and work independently in a hybrid or in-office setting, as well as collaboratively within a team to promote consistent and efficient workflow processes.
Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant fields; a combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with data management, process, and data system design, preferably in a legal or professional services firm.
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with Litera Foundation front and back end.
Experience with IT strategy development and execution.
Familiarity with law firm or professional services industry processes beneficial.
Proven experience in data migration, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
