Position Overview
WeDriveU is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal team. This role will primarily focus on contracts management and RFPs, while also offering valuable support on labor relations, litigation, and employment law matters. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Paralegal will play a key role in helping us manage risk, streamline legal operations, and support strategic initiatives across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, redline, and manage a variety of government contracts, commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and MSAs
Own the contract lifecycle management process—from intake to execution—ensuring consistency and compliance
Coordinate legal input for RFP submissions, working cross-functionally to ensure completeness and accuracy
Maintain the company’s contract database and legal document management systems
Serve as a liaison between Legal and other departments (e.g., Procurement, HR, Finance, Operations) to ensure alignment
Major consideration given for ability to assist in labor relations matters and support employment litigation, including organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with outside counsel
Prepare responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents
Conduct legal research and prepare internal memoranda or summaries as needed
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and flag potential risks or impacts to operations
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification strongly preferred
3–7 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on contracts, legal operations, or corporate law
Experience with labor unions, employment disputes strongly preferred
Familiarity with RFP processes and legal input coordination
Experience supporting litigation or employment-related legal work is a strong bonus
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad, contract lifecycle management tools)
Preferred Experience
Prior in-house legal department experience.
Knowledge of employment law and labor relations practices.
Experience with legal research tools and case management software.
