Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal who excels at drafting, reviewing, and refining legal documents. This role is hands-on and central to our legal operations, supporting a wide range of agreements, transactions, and ongoing initiatives across our franchise network. You’ll work closely with the Legal Director and General Counsel on substantive drafting and transactional projects, helping maintain consistency across our documents and ensuring the Legal Department executes key company objectives efficiently and accurately.

If you have strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in how legal work influences business operations, this position provides a meaningful opportunity to expand your experience in a structured, well-organized setting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including franchise agreements, amendments, transfer and assignment agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, and other related business contracts.
  • Review and redline third-party documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain organized files, exhibits, and document versions related to the company’s Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) and other legal filings.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of franchise and corporate transactions, including franchise transfers, new franchisee onboarding, and entity formations.
  • Conduct legal and factual research to support contract drafting, compliance initiatives, and due diligence projects.
  • Track and manage deadlines for contracts, renewals, and corporate filings.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including operations, accounting, and development, to ensure consistent execution of agreements and policies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department setting.
  • Exposure to corporate, transactional, or franchise law (preferred).

Other Notes:

  • Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses, with an annual aggregate bonus opportunity up to 10% of base salary.
  • Copy of Resume and a writing sample/cover letter must be submitted with the job application.
