Position Overview:

We are seeking an Operations Counsel to join our legal team. This position reports directly to the General Counsel and involves close collaboration with other departments within the organization.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and managing operational activities related to construction projects.
  • Support the preparation, negotiation, and administration of third-party contracts and vendor agreements.
  • Conduct reviews and maintain accurate records of contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee and coordinate activities related to litigation matters, including liaising with legal counsel and reviewing claims records.
  • Ensure proper management, compliance, and execution of corporate contracts in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve operational, contractual, and compliance issues efficiently.
  • Maintain organized documentation and reporting systems to support communication and decision-making between business and legal departments.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience and familiarity with contracts.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems.
  • Excellent negotiation and written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
