Qualifications
The Business Development Intern performs a variety of administrative duties for the Business Development department according to established policies and procedures. The position maintains positive contact with clients and staff and observes confidentiality of client matters.
- Provides event and project support to the department.
- Assists department by adding contacts to the contact database and preparing and updating mailing lists.
- Assists with maintaining the inventory for the marketing SWAG.
- Provides administrative support to Business Development department in Roanoke and Richmond.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, or spelling errors.
- Requires people skills necessary to communicate and follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
- Work occasionally requires an elevated level of mental effort and strain while producing a high volume of information and performing other essential duties.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Available to work mid-May to mid-August.
