- The Alameda City Attorney’s Office is seeking an administrative professional to join its team.This professional is expected to have a wide range of duties, including directly supporting the City Attorney. A qualified professional may have prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, executive assistant, or law office administrator. It is expected that this professional will:
- Provide day-to-day executive assistance to the City Attorney's Prosecution division;
- Manage general office administration, which includes: process reimbursements, interdepartmental record-keeping, and compliance;
- Support attorneys in the office by handling civil and criminal court filings, tracking cases, and managing discovery;
- Handle other matters as assigned.
The successful applicant will have strong communication and advocacy skills, as well as a demonstrated commitment to advancing the public interest. The selected professional is expected to work in the office at least 4 days a week. - Distinguishing Features
This is a part time opportunity. Part time positions in the City of Alameda have limited benefits.
