Our client is a growing mid-sized law firm with several locations throughout New York state. They are looking for a Corporate Associate Attorney to join their Corporate & Business Practice group. This is an in-office position in downtown Rochester, NY. Salary is in the $110-150k range, plus bonus. There is also room at the top for the right individual, as there is interest for a senior level, non-equity individual who can bring in a book of business. What To Expect As a Corporate Attorney:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of corporate agreements including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial/securities offerings, and corporate governance documents
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on corporate transactions and compliance matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client initiatives and case strategies
- Represent clients in corporate negotiations, meetings, and transactions
- Keep abreast of relevant legal developments and industry trends to ensure the highest level of service to clients
Qualifications For Success:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Bar in the State of NY is required
- 3+ years experience practicing corporate law at a law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles and regulations
- Possess strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently
- Takes pride in submitting work products of a high standard
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence
