
We are working on behalf of an international Am Law 100 firm to recruit a Business Development Manager to support the firm’s growing Corporate practice. The Manager will support the overall business development and marketing efforts of the Firm by helping to create and execute strategic activities related specifically to the corporate practice across multiple markets, clients, and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic business development and marketing plans including goals, action items, and deadlines;
Advise and collaborate with partners, the Business Development, Marketing, and Communications teams, as well as other internal stakeholders;
Draft and prepare written proposals, pitches, and other communications to clients, prospective clients, and related third-party organizations; and,
Support the practice's key client efforts and work with colleagues on best practices to ensure the identification, development, and growth of high-value services to key clients.
Credentials and Expertise:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, law or business is preferred. Advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of marketing professional experience is , with preference for experience in the Corporate practice area.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills with strong editing, proofreading, grammar, and research skills.
Marketing Expertise: Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts, and practical applications as well as developments and trends in the legal and professional services marketing fields is
