We are seeking an individual for our Boise, Idaho office who shares our core values to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal for Personal Injury law. The Litigation Paralegal coordinates the administrative duties and details in preparation for litigating a personal injury case. This individual will need to create and maintain case database, extract information from internal and external research databases, conduct various document searches and factual research. They will need to maintain detailed case files, proofread documents, organize exhibits, and index records, and work closely with the litigation attorney in preparation to file court documents and prepare for trial. They will be responsible for scheduling and preparing for depositions, and will be the liaison with outside/opposing legal counsel. Paralegals may need to attend trial with the attorney to assist by taking notes, keeping exhibits and relevant support documents organized

We are seeking someone who loves helping and serving others. This individual will be the main point of contact and interact with the client on a regular basis to ensure the client is kept informed of any important upcoming events, as well as the status and progress of their case. They will also need to maintain professional standards toward the firm, it's clients, and other team members.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in progressive paralegal responsibilities in a personal injury law firm
  • Strong reading comprehension, active listening, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, exceptional knowledge of the English language. Preferred to also be bi-lingual and have good working knowledge of Spanish as well
  • Solid knowledge of the legal system: laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents,  government regulations, agency rules and executive orders
  • Effective research and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop trust in constituents and staff
  • Good knowledge of case management systems, general computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
