Role and Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Director of Legal Transactions Group, draft and negotiate contracts to support advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities across multiple sites, with a focus on vendor/supplier and procurement contracts.

  • Directly advise management on legal risks presented in transactional matters.

  • Continuously improve legal operations, including work processes, forms, software systems, policies and guidebooks.

  • Establish cross-functional relationships to solve problems that impact many company stakeholders.

  • Manage routine legal processes, working with paralegal staff, such as NDA negotiation, task tracking and reporting.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have JD degree with at least 5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Must be detail oriented, have good judgment and be able to manage multiple complex and competing priorities without significant supervision.
  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing or technology transactions is a plus.
  • Experience working as both an in-house attorney and at a major law firm is a plus.
