A full-time, non-merit, Law Clerk vacancy exists in the State's Attorney's Office for Baltimore County, Criminal Prosecution Division.
Non-Merit positions are not classified within the Baltimore County Government Classification and Compensation Plan.- Examples of Duties
Essential Job Duties
- May be responsible for preparing cases to be charged by Grand Jury or Circuit Court Criminal Information
- Prepares various documents and correspondence in an electronic Case Management System.
- Gathers and compiles information for attorney work product.
- Helps with all of the other office-wide law clerk duties.
- Do research for attorneys.
- Other duties may include creating and preparing collateral and bail review files.
- Preparing court rooms with AV equipment for upcoming trials.
- Other miscellaneous duties as needed.
- Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must currently be enrolled in law school (evening classes).
EXAMINATION PROCEDURE
