Wilson Sonsini is currently looking for a Professional Development Assistant to join the firm. This role will provide administrative support for our industry-leading training and other professional development events and initiatives, including scheduling virtual and in-person classes, managing class materials, entering attendance data into our learning management system, and handling other projects in support of the PD team. This role will be on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for in-house training and onboarding programs, including scheduling; materials distribution; class set-up for in-person, hybrid and virtual programs; manage equipment requests; and communicate with presenters and attendees
- Coordinate AV and IT program needs, locally and globally
- Use, update and navigate the firm's learning management system in order to manage class details, track registrations, and enter CLE credits
- Edit and post class recordings to our on-demand learning platform
- Proofread all work with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Assist with other projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience will be considered
- Experience in a professional environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Possess the ability to take initiative and is proactive
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Dependable team player
- Possess professional manner and good judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (preferred)
- Familiarity with audio/visual tools and learning management systems (preferred)
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
