Description
This position will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, tracking, and administering the various contractual agreements for ARKRAY.  This position will provide support to Legal, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Order Services, and Finance to ensure that ARKRAY’s contractual agreements are current, accurate and in compliance with the terms and conditions of company agreements and with ARKRAY policies. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Drafting and maintenance of various contract agreements: Purchase agreements, Master Consumable Agreements, Service Policy, Installation Set Up and Training, etc.
  • Responsible for negotiation of contract agreements and on-going administration of the contract agreements.
  • Maintain and keep accurate Tracking Logs for USL instruments, state licenses, leases and other logs as needed.
  • Responsible for the creation of Renewal contracts, which are to be sent to the customer ninety (90) days before the contract expiration and follow up with the customer at approximately sixty (60) days, thirty (30) days and at expiration.
  • Work with Legal and Sales to review to review and edit various agreements such as: GPO Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc.
  • Provide support to Legal in review of non-instrument issues such as leases, coupon (creation of), legal research, state and federal compliance issues, etc.
  • Responsible for creating contract agreements (and appropriate Tracking Log) for new products as they are announced.
  • Interact and work with Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to gain an understanding of the business environment and to ensure the contract agreements reflect current pricing and ARKRAY terms.

 



Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
  • BA/BS degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved legal program or a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate or a Juris Doctorate degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of business experience, preferably in contracts administration.
  • Contract creation, negotiation, and administration experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, systems aptitude and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and with a high level of energy and initiative.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management and sales staff.
  • Assertive and flexible.
  • Advanced PC skills a must. Proficiency in PC-based analytical tools and solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Heavy keyboarding / PC use.
  • Occasional heavy lifting of about 25 pound
