Job Duties:
- Responsible for managing and directing an essential unit of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office, by ensuring appropriate resources are available for associates and attorneys to serve families by effectively establishing and enforcing child support orders.
- Responsible for office compliance with federal and state regulations, policy, statutes, and audit criteria related to child support
- Responsible for development and administration of budget. Oversees and approves purchasing and payroll.
- Manages personnel including hiring, evaluations, and progressive discipline. Directs office daily work and training through unit supervisors and occasionally directly
- Responsible for determining the most appropriate legal and administrative remedies in complex and difficult cases
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Law.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university of law preferred.
- Six years of responsible experience in municipal, and civil or criminal law.
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
