Technology Transactions Mid-Level Associate

Practice Area: Technology Transactions – Commercial & Intellectual Property

Location: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Boston, MA (other office locations may be considered)

Schedule: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days in office/week, Full-Time; Billable Hour Requirements Apply


Our client is a globally recognized firm and has remained Band 1 within Mergers & Acquistions for over 10 years. They are seeking bright, compassionate individuals who have a keen sense of technology to an elevated level, where they can begin to analyze the and do due diligence on a company pre-merger and maintain, consult and learn a great amount about a novel area of practice that is beginning to unfold at a rapid pace!


A premier legal team offering comprehensive counsel in technology and commercial transactions. This mid-level role has opened due to expansion, as the firm scales its presence in advising across technology, media, and innovation sectors.


Mid-Level Associate Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a 3–5-year associate to join a globally recognized technology transactions practice. You will negotiate and draft sophisticated agreements in IT and business process outsourcing, enterprise software licensing, and software-as-a-service arrangements. Exposure to high-growth startups, venture-backed companies, and investors will be common, with chances to assist in commercialization strategies, product counseling, and support for M&A deals. The role encourages professional growth, cross-office collaboration, and participation in dynamic client engagements. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment while being part of a team that values long-term development.


Required & Preferred Skills

  • 3–5 years' experience in technology transactions from a large law firm
  • Drafting and negotiating complex IP, data, and tech contracts
  • Familiarity with IT outsourcing, ERP, SaaS, and licensing structures
  • Comfort advising non-legal stakeholders on legal risks
  • Working knowledge of data privacy and IP law
  • Admission to practice law in GA, IL, TX, MA, or any state with a firm office
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects
  • Prior exposure to AI or quantum computing is beneficial
  • Interest in working onsite three days a week in a collaborative office setting
