Associate Attorney – First Party Property Defense | Miami, FL
Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm, is seeking a Florida-licensed litigation attorney to join our Miami office, focusing on First Party Property defense. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to join a growing practice with a strong support system, mentorship, and long-term career development.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation experience, with preference given to those with prior First Party Property or insurance defense backgrounds. However, we are open to training attorneys with strong litigation fundamentals who are new to this area of practice.
Responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation in First Party Property matters
Draft initial case evaluations, interim reports, and pre-trial reports
Draft and respond to discovery and discovery-related motions
Prepare clients for and attend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Attend court hearings, mediations, and other appearances as needed
Draft dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment
Collaborate with team members on case strategy and risk assessment
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in good standing
3+ years of civil litigation experience; First Party Property experience preferred
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
Ability to manage a full caseload and work independently in a fast-paced environment
